Winthrop-University Hospital, New York University (NYU), and TNA (Trigeminal Neuralgia Association) invite you to attend a Chronic Facial Pain Continuing Education Course on May 10, 2008 at NYU’s College of Dentistry, 345 East 24th Street, New York, NY 10010. Medical and dental continuing education credits will be offered. The educational objectives for this course include:
Health care providers interested in developing an understanding of chronic facial pain disorders, their diagnosis and treatment are encouraged to attend.
Since seating is limited, you are encouraged to register early. You can either register online or complete a conference registration form and mail or fax it.

Winthrop-University Hospital designates this Continuing Medical Education activity for a maximum of 4.75 category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the activity. The NYU College of Dentistry has approved 4.75 hours of Continuing Dental Education units.

TNA is a national, non-profit association concerned with the plight of those who suffer from TN (trigeminal neuralgia) and other neuropathic facial pain. TN, also known as tic douloureux, is a disorder of the fifth cranial nerve causing episodes of intense, stabbing, electric shock-like pain in the areas of the face where the nerve is distributed.
